Ilona Kaplunov | Principal & Creative Director
An experienced Designer and Creative Director, Ilona started BlueApple Design in 2004. As Creative Director she has lead User Experience, Identity and Website design projects for clients ranging from small but established companies to technology giants. Ilona and her team successfully worked with numerous startup clients as they entered the market, leading them to a strong, conceptual, and memorable identity, web presence and product.
Compiling a team of visual and interaction designers, but personally managing and art directing every project, she ensures that clients’ expectations are met and exceeded.
Ilona finds work-life balance by splitting her days between the job she loves and spending time with her two girls.
Ilona holds a Bachelor of Science in graphic design from SJSU.
